Stayed in Rossroe Lodge B&B for 1 night (10/03/2012). The plan was for me and the girlfriend to take a break from Galway city and the large amount of drink and madness that entails. Made the booking based on the reviews i found on this website. I will be honest i was attracted by the evening meal option. Overall everything... More

We actually stayed at Rossroe Lodge from November 5-8, 2011. We arrived a bit earlier than we mentioned, but that was not a problem. We were greeted with a warm welcome from Mary and Silvain and their cute little ones! We were served pie and coffee upon our arrival and had quite the cute conversation with their toddler. The house... More

Spent 3 nights in this beautiful location and the most amazing B&B. Mary and Sylvain are great hosts. We have no faults with this B&B. The service was great, tea and scones on arrival. The view from our room was of the bay which is amazing no matter what the weather. The room was very cosy and warm with everything... More

This is the first time I've ever been moved enough to write a review. After a long drive, Mary welcomed me with a pot of tea and a scone - just what I needed. I wanted to get onto the internet immediately and the signal was great despite the remote location. I would thoroughly recommend this as a place to... More

We arrived late in the evening after an unexpected detour to climb Croagh Patrick (but that's another story). The welcome tea and scones helped revive our spirits, but the generosity of our hosts was overwhelming. Despite the late hour, Sylvain offered to whip up a meal to save us heading out again in search of dinner. We were expecting "something... More

We had a wonderful two-day stay at this out of the way B&B in beautiful Connemara on the west coast of Ireland. Our hosts made us more than welcome. The little people in the house were a bonus! The house is modern; our room and the dining room overlook a little inlet from the sea. You are in easy driving... More

Oh, how we loved our time here! We were tired and road-weary when we arrived, but Mary's warm welcome and pot of tea revived us instantly! Sylvain is a wonderful chef who cooked an evening meal for us, and it was the best beef stew we've ever had! Breakfast was delicious too, and kept us satisfied all day. Our lovely... More

We enjoyed two nights here whilst attending a family event and couldn't have picked a better place. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, the family were very friendly and welcoming and the breakfasts were delicious. We will definitely be back when visiting again!

The sign pointed down a narrow side-road and said "B&B 3.5km". We almost turned back, but are so glad we didn't! The hosts (Mary & Sylvain) were a delight and were very welcoming. They served us afternoon tea with fresh scones when we arrived and prepared a lovely dinner and breakfast for us as well. They were happy to chat... More
