Unfortunately we could only stay one night in this lovely little hotel overlooking Heron's Cove We had a lovely room and big bathroom (N°3) with a lovely view over the cove We had a very warm welcome and a delightful meal and good wine in the nice restaurant. Breakfast was also very nice, served in beautiful crockery A very good... More

When we booked we were told that the only available room was a small twin room. As we had heard good things of the restaurant and b & b, we decided to accept. ( We were charge the same as the rate advertised for the normal rooms.) I have rarely spend a night in a smaller room. Don't accept room... More

Rooms a large and rustic and very clean. Herons Cove was a very enjoyable experience. The food is outstanding. Just the right size menu for a B&B. With a good verity to choose from satisfying a 2 to 3 day stay. I do recommend at least 2 nights. There are lots of things to see in the area. The staff... More

This is one of the best hotels that we have ever stayed in. The rooms are perfect and the resturant is excellent, even the set menu and the carte menu are as good as you can get, with a fine choice of wine. Breakfast is also perfect and they will cook what you want. It may not be a family... More

Spent a night at The Heron's Cove while touring Ireland with my family at Easter. The B&B is clean and tidy, but could use a bit of TLC and updating. Sits right on the harbor, but not a very attractive view when the tide is out. We were pleased with our large family room- the beds were comfy and the... More

And when you do stay at Sue Hill’s Heron’s Cove - a B&B to beat all: terrific position, lovely spacious rooms with balconies all but overhanging the sea, walk in power showers, attentive and engaging staff, a serious dining room with an award winning menu, and an intriguing cellar. My wife and I spent a few glorious days here this... More

This was our 3rd visit and it still comes up trumps. A special deal of 1n b&b+1d for €65 per person is fabulous value. The room we had-No 3- was very comfortable, especially the bed, good Wifi, and great view of the cove. The 3 course meal is priced a little less than 18 months ago, It is only 5 or 6 rooms so... More

Sue is wonderful. The staff is great and food is amazing. The cove is lovely as is Goleen and you are near to so much of what the area has to offer. I didn't stay in the rooms, but in a large house up the road, so can't speak to the rooms.

We stayed at Heron's cove for 2 nights last weekend, clean and cosy bedroom with a spectacular view, very friendly welcome and the most wonderful food I have ever had from a B & B. The quality of the food was amazing - Fresh and made to order. It's easy to see why this little gem has won an AA... More

Have spent two glorious nights in beautiful Goleen in this lovely, quaint, cosy and spotlessly clean B&B. Parking is a bit hit and miss but you will always find somewhere. Our room faced right out onto the harbour and the views were spectacular. There was a very well-stocked bathroom and bottled water was also supplied on the tea/coffee tray. There’s... More
