This was a Groupon deal and I was happy to book on the basis of reviews, which are mostly good. Our first disappointment was a view over the back yard and main N3 - apparently no lake views left. I found this hotel very welcoming, friendly and relaxed. I had the best sleep for years in the king size bed in a lovely airy spotless room overlooking the lake. Most relaxing indeed. Maebh the owner was pleasant and helpful as were all the staff. Enjoyed our break very much.

Omg I love this place.. A shot hop from Belfast and a fab location with the friendliest staff.. In particular Anna May was soooooo sweet.. A lovely place to stay. This was our second visit and we had a lakeside view. It was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was great and would recommend the steak on the stone, fabulous. Hope to return.

A really lovely place to stay. 10 of us stayed over the weekend and found the hotel staff very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were very clean,comfortable and roomy. Those of us who had a lake view really enjoyed the beauty and ever changing view depending on the sky. The food was really excellent and very reasonable.
