I'm an actor here at Cumberland County Playhouse and Mariner's Pointe has been very gracious to open some of their rooms to relatives and friends that have come to see me while I've been doing the Sound of Music. If you're looking for excitement this is probably not the place. However, if you are looking to get away to rest and relax this will work fine. We tried to stay at a place in Tennessee that is fairly central to the state, which this resort is. It still is a fairly long drive to any attraction in the state. Dollywood was about an hour and half two hour drive. Chattanooga is over two hours and Nashville is over a hundred miles away. So needless to say... More
