Hello, I just got back from staying a whole week at the crashpad and I really want to share what an amazing place this is. I have stayed at several hostels throughout the world and one of my favorites is the Blue Hostel in Rome Italy but the crash pad takes the cake. No, it is not hystorical like the... More

My sister and our husbands stayed at The Crash Pad this weekend and absolutely loved it! We felt at home the moment we walked in. The staff and owners not only welcomed us, but were always available with information about things to do and restaurant recommendations. They are well connected to the local community and businesses. Lots of, "Tell them... More

-Great location (walking distance to shops and food) -Great staff (friendly and knowledgeable) -Great price (not only affordable but a ton of freebies included that other hotels make you pay for: WiFi, parking, breakfast, etc) -Clean and Eco-Friendly! The Crash Pad is hands down one of the best places I've spent a night away from home!

My husband and I stumbled upon this hostel when visiting Chattanooga. We had been looking at inexpensive hotels in the area, and I am SO glad we found the Crash Pad to stay instead - we loved everything about our stay here. It is a really modern building with high end fixtures (custom woodworking, concrete counters, etc). We stayed in... More

The Crash Pad is a wonderful place to stay. My husband and I were in town over the New Year to climb. We went to bed early on New Year's Eve, (to climb hard the next day!) while staying in the bunks and all the guests were quiet and respectful. The design of the common space makes the bunk area... I stayed in a private room with a friend, and found the room very clean and comfortable - the sink in the room was a bonus. The bathrooms were also very clean, the water in the shower hot, and I really appreciated that they used cloth towels instead of paper towels at the sinks. The food provided for breakfast was... Very friendly service and super clean facilities. I was staying here by myself on a weekend climbing trip. I had a great time. I plan on going back in the future on trips in the area. Two thumbs up for the Crash Pad!

We had a great stay at the Crash Pad. My husband and I stayed in a private room with our 3 month old daughter. The staff was warm and friendly. The queen bed had a pillow top mattress and the sheets were soft - very comfortable. The walls are a little thin so we were worried that our daughter would... More

This place was great. We arrived at midnight and the area around the hostel seemed pretty sketchy-but in the day, it seems like it's a downtown area. The check in times are only 4-9 which sucked but only because the owners were out climbing. The rates were pretty fair— $27 for a bunk, $70 for a private room. There are... More

Thanks for the positive review! Regarding the check-in time, it's true that our office hours are 4-9pm for now, but we will gladly accommodate any early or late arrivals if we have some advance notice - your midnight check-in was no problem at all for us, and it happens all the time. Help spread the word so we can be... More

A majority of the US hostels are a shady questionable, experience -- this is not! I was really impressed with comfortable this hostel is. If it weren't a hostel, it would be a fancy hotel. The bunk beds aren't some flimsy afterthought, but have individual cubbies with a closing curtain. Everything from the bathroom sink to the front desk wood... More
