We stayed here with a baseball team. The rooms were not clean and looked like they hadn't been redone in decades. A friend checked out because her bathroom was so dirty. This was my family's second stay at BW Sturgis. Both stays have been most pleasant. The staff was EXCELLENT! From check-in to check-out. We were made to feel very welcomed. Comfortable, warm beds. we spent 1 night then decided to stay 2 more. We've stayed here before and it's since had a face lift. It looks real nice from the outside. Our room was very nice and comfortable. This hotel is showing signs of wear and tear. Would never pay summer rates to stay here. Ice on the stairs and handrail leading up to my room. Very slippery. They should take care of this but no one seems to care. Nothing great to say about this place. Most Best Westerns are better than this one.

We stayed here for two nights recently and had a really good experience. The rooms were nicely appointed and staff went out of its way to make sure we had everything we needed. It was great to have the restaurant on-site - very convenient, and it was a short hop to Deadwood. We'd stay again.
