We had a medical emergency and had to find a hotel very close to the hospital, and being high season in Rapid City/Black Hills, this was the lowest price hotel we found-paid $99 including tax for a double bed room.
The air conditioning wall unit smelled like smoke when we turned it on, and didn't work anyways, there were exposed...

Our hotel room was not serviced the first day. Our bed was unmade, there were dirty linen and towels, the carpet was not vacuumed and the garbage cans were full.
