It is run down, has incompetent management, the internet does not work (even though they say it has internet), when we could connect, it was about as slow as a dial up connection and useless. The hotel is older, and they are working on updating some of the rooms. Our room was clean, and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast is basic, but one can get cheap pancakes nearby. All in all, we enjoyed our stay. Good value.

The managers of the hotel went above and beyond the call of duty. The rooms are older but very clean. The owners and staff are trying to get things updated. We would stay again without a problem.

We stayed there for one night during our visit to Mt. Rushmore. Hotel staff was very courteous and helpful but the rooms were small and old. Hotel is situated on the way to Rushmore and we had tough time in finding the location. Stay here if you are looking for a budget accommodation which is on the way to Rushmore.

Very nice and friendly folks, but the rooms were old and cramped, and the bed was not comfortable at all. The tub felt like you were going to fall through it, and the whole facility was showing its age. Great place if it was 1965 and if the rate was if $35 per night, but it wasn't.
