My new husband and I were so incredibly lucky to have chosen the Historic Town Hall Inn for the two nights after we were married. The owner Mike worked around our wedding day schedule to let us check in early and even left a little surprise in our room for when we arrived after our reception. The room was clean... More

Our room was the lovely Mayor's Office. It was the perfect blend of old time charm and modern conveniences. The high ceiling, full length windows and decor were fabulous. We ate breakfast at Spankies across the street at the suggestion of the hotel staff. The food was great, especially the breakfast potatoes. The waitress and cook were so friendly and accomodating.... My boyfriend and I had a two day stay at the Town Hall Inn. We got great suggestions on where to go for the prettiest views. Had the most relaxing time. There is a cozy little restaurant across the street that has good home made food and I had the best peanut butter pie there. I may have to make... More

Great place to relax and serve as a home base for a tour of the northern Black Hills. Friendly staff, clean rooms and historic charm made for a great 4 night stay.

Four of us travelled from Upstate New York for the Sturgis Bike Rally and ended up being very lucky to have reserved rooms at this hotel. The rooms are clean and nicely furnished and we were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. This place is definitely rider-friendly: A hose and rags were provided out front to wash... More

Mike and his son Kelly were very accomidating. We appreciated the shuttle service to Deadwood alot. (rated value as 3 out of 5 only because it was bike week and everybody is... More

My husband and I spent one night at the Historic Town Hall Inn, and we loved it! The building has been restored very nicely. Our room had a nice historic feel but with all the amenities to make it comfortable. There is no TV in the room, but wireless is available. One friendly suggestion to the owner would be to... More

Beautiful historic hotel with authentic rooms. Very friendly staff. Just far enough away from Deadwood to relax without hearing the slot machines.

Charming, older building with nice size rooms, comfy beds, and friendly staff. Located on Main Street directly across from a huge open cut mine. This old mining town is just a few miles from Deadwood in the beautiful Black Hills. We had a great time and are coming back this summer!

If you are looking for a quiet comfortable place to stay, close to deadwood, this place is a great value. There are no amenities to speak of (pool, hot tub, etc.), but the rooms are very clean , quiet, and historic. It is right on Lead's main street close to eateries and a short 5 minute drive from Deadwood. The... More
