It is obvious that the owners are updating the hotel and doing all they can to make it comfortable for guests. We reserved three rooms for a Friday night and were all very happy with the accommodations. The deck out back is a real nice feature, as was the offstreet parking. This is a small hotel with lots of character... More

The rooms were nicely updated and Jake was very accommodating. we had 3 rooms for our whole party. They have a nice patio area where we could all hang out after a long day of fun in the hills.

Jake made us feel right a home. We loved the theme of the hotel. The room to gather at night downstairs was a add plus that most hotels do not have.

There is new ownership so I can't speak to the older reviews. The place was very nice, totally redone and is being managed and looked after by a young couple, Jake and Hanna. They were awesome. They were always able and willing to help us were very knowledgeable of the area. Plus they were very easy to just sit down... More

What a ripoff this place was. No parking is just the beginning of the issues with this place. The rooms are very small as are the bathrooms, the only thing that did work right was the cable tv. If you like New York style apts sizes for a hotel room, then this place is for you. We were all highly... More

A group of us booked and stayed at this hotel while in the area for Kool Deadwood Nites in Deadwood--the picture that we saw on the website did not protray it very well. We were expecting king size beds and found them to be full size, the rooms were very small and the bathrooms were very small. We made the... More

I stayed at the GoldTown hotel in Lead SD. I came to go gambling in Deadwood Which was only 2 miles away. It was worth the short drive that we had to take to stay at such a nice place. Very impressed!!!!!

On a recent family vacation to Deadwood, our first time to visit South Dakota's Black Hills, we stayed at the Gold Town Hotel. My husband & I were surprised by the location and the geat accomadations at the Gold town. Deadwood is about 3 miles away, not even 5 min by car. I loved the quaint shops right across the... More
