Excellent location in South Dakota near National Parks. Extreamly clean cabin in a quiet wooded setting with no tv!!! Kids had an excellent time playing in the field and trees. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Our family enjoys traveling to the Black Hills of South Dakota throughout the year. We recently have found this true gem... "Newton Fork Ranch." The location is absolutely breathtaking and is set off the main "tourist" roads so it is quiet and relaxing. The management of the facility is wonderful and well maintained.
We have stayed at Newton Fork Ranch four times now and have always enjoyed ourselves. The cabins are clean, quiet and comfy. It is a great location for exploring the area and sits right between Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse. Best of all......our dogs can come along!!! There is plenty of space for them and with a gate opening onto...

Loved waking up to the deer frolicking right outside the window. The ranch is very peaceful and located only 5 minutes from Hill City's down town. We enjoyed Custer State Park, Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Deadwood, Lead's Gold Mine, 1800's Train, night shows at Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse. We also took in the Badlands and Devils Tower on a...

We spent four nights at Forest Haven Cabin on our recent trip to the Black Hills with our two children (ages 5 and 7). Everyone LOVED the cabin at Newton Fork Ranch. It was wonderful to have our own little home-away-from-home to return to each evening after a day filled with activities. We loved seeing the deer behind our cabin...

After the chaos of all the stuff in the Black Hills this Ranch is a piece of paradise! My kids loved climbing the hill in the back of the cabin to the fort that had been built by other kids. They got to stretch their legs and enjoy the outdoors with the room around the cabin
We traveled with 3...

Stayed there 17-20Oct. The cabins sit on about 20 acres.(not a lot of privacy, like it appears.)The cabins are well appointed. No Tv or phones, but you can get cell reception and The Exxon rents DVD's if you brought your computer.
The bed is up some pretty steep stairs in the loft. I fell coming down the stairs in the...

The cabins are amazing and the location perfect. We have stayed at Newton Fork three times now and have never been disappointed. Best of all....they allow our canine children to stay as well!
Great setting. Easy to get to. Quiet. Log cabin that was very well done. Well-stocked kitchen. Comfortable. Clean. Restful. Peaceful. We would come back. Much better than we had expected!
