I've visited this B&B many times and met multiple owners/families across the years and had always enjoyed our stays. In past visits, the breakfasts and treats have been equisite. Our last visit, with Brett and MaryEllen as owners, was surprising as they appear to have broken with tradition. While the house is beautiful and comfortable, if you are looking for... More

Aunt Sophia's B and B was a wonderful experience for myself and my children. The rooms were very clean, and beautifully decorated. The breakfasts were delicious, and the family that owns it was great! We got to visit with the children of the house, and we really enjoyed their company! Mary Ellen and Brent recently purchased the B&B, and from listening to Mary Ellen, she has done quite a bit of updating. Within about 6 or 7 blocks of downtown Deadwood. We loved listening to Mary Ellen and her two daughters talk about being... More

Lovely, quiet setting about six or seven blocks from downtown Deadwood. Mary Ellen and her husband Brent recently purchased the B&B and from her description of some of the previous ownership's room decorations, we're glad they did. Beautiful old home. Wife and I enjoyed listening to Mary Ellen's tales of being a career Marine wife, Brent is actually in Afghanistan.... More
