We drove from Ft. Lauderdale to Orangeburg (9 hours) on our way to New York via Asheville and I-81. I had made an advance reservation because the area lodging seemed booked due to graduations. The room was comfortable, staff at desk friendly, large parking lot, breakfast very good and well staffed.

Stayed overnight here. Good location off of I-26. Room was big...had a king bed and a nice sitting area. Loveseat not comfortable though......very hard to sit on! Bed was very comfortable. Im just checking out now. Helpful staff. Clean rooms. Super comfy beds. Excellent breakfast with eggs , bacon .. Warm cinnamon rolls. Nice indoor pool. Big flat screens. Rooms are spacious. Quick check in. All around one of the bedt in every atea in my opinion.

I do not see what the others are saying negative about this location, it was just like the other HI's I have stayed in the area.

After many hours drive, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room, the large size, comfortable bed and nice decor. The reception lady was also very capable and kind to weary, somewhat dazed travelers. The price was right too. Breakfast was included and was adequate. Kudos to a fine product!
