He checked me in, retrieved a luggage cart for me, answered my questions and made himself available for other issues. I would not trust anyone that works at this extremely over-priced, dumpy motel!! I booked a non-smoking king over the phone and they gave me a smoking queen. There are a few problems here. The materials they used to build the hotel look good on the surface but they're cheap. So every little sound from children running in the hall to doors closing to cabinets slamming next door intrudes on the silence. The rooms aren't suites. stayed here for myrtle beach marathon b/c it was close to the start/finish area adn wanted a efficiency style accomodations It was a basic hotel - nothing fancy and not very big rooms, but it was clean and the service was nice. It is close to shops/restaurants, but not to the beach. Near the Broadway at the Beach.
