This is a 1902 7,000 sq. ft Victorian B&B. It has 6 rooms, all on the second floor. The stairway to the second floor is narrow partly due to a Handicapped lift chair. We had told the Innkeeper we would arrive around 6pm but got there at 4:30. We were greeted promply, checked in and shown to our room. The... More

The Walnut lane inn b and b was a great stay for us. We only stayed one night but we enjoyed it immensely. We were greeted when we arrived and showed to our room which was large, well decorated with victorian style and a beautiful and relaxing canopy bed. The only down side we found with the stay was that... More

We spent 3 nights there on a little weekend getaway. Beautiful old house, very clean and nicely decorated. The grounds surrounding the house are beautiful. The full breakfast served aeach morning was varied.. from a cheese omelet to a Monte Cristo sandwich (delicious) to scrambled eggs, each with all the trimmings. Our only caution is if you are a light... More

I spent a week at Walnut Lane B&b and couldn't have been more pleased. I have stayed in several B&Bs over the years and this one was extraordinary. I traveled alone to do some genealogical research but felt like I was home. I was gone most all day after breakfast but looked forward to coming back to my quiet, cozy... More

Arrived late afternoon to find a beautiful former private home on a large lot with amazing lawn and garden setting. We were apparently not expected because of a glitch with the host's internet provider. Fortunately business was slow and we had the place to ourselves. We were greeted warmly and shown to the room we had chosen online. The "private"... More

My longtime friend and I stayed here this past weekend for a Gal's Getaway. It happened to be exactly halfway between her coming from NC and me from GA. And what a pleasant environment the Inn provided for such an occasion. The innkeepers gave excellent service and paid attention to little details that make a big difference like CD players... More

Beautiful inn and grounds, lovely room. We enjoyed our stay - it was very peaceful and quiet at the Inn. Had dinner at Don Juan's just a few minutes away - there were two or three other choices within a short drive. Lots of weddings here and I can see why! We had wonderful peach-stuffed french toast for breakfast -... More

From the outside, this was one of the most beautiful homes in which I have stayed. The porches and grounds are also used for weddings, so they are kept very well. When we arrived, during the designated 3:00 - 6:00 time, we found the door locked and noone answering the doorbell. After some time, I looked up the phone number... More

Hello, We have been made aware of your review and found it very disturbing. Yes, we did ask that you allow us some privacy by not going behind the house, but it was also for your safety, since our gardening supplies are stored there. We are very sorry about not hearing the bell, but as we advised you, we do... More
