Terrible. I stayed for about a month. Working 2 jobs. Night of tornado touched down about 1 mile from this place. Mgr treated me worse anyone can imagine. He was telling me to pay for nights stay when I was leaving w a around friend 4p. Sent by waitress from neigboring. Restr. Where i had bought dinners be4. She swung her hips and gestured her fingers like i should pay her to give to mgr.She Since I felt bad went by following Monday w another friend as witness. Started to give 1/2 amt owed. That wasnt enough. Kept wanting more $ until I left. He did yell at me more than once. Probably due to heat and stress.

My family and I decided to take an impromptu trip to Myrtle Beach Saturday May 8, 2021. We did not realize that almost every hotel and motel would be booked up and that the rates would be outrageous. This was poor planning on our part but the trip was impromptu. We finally came across The Budget Inn. It would not be somewhere we would normally stay especially with a 13 week old and 1 year old but it was the only one with an available room and it was too far to turn around and go back home. The rate of $180.00 per night was absolutely ridiculous for this room. When got to the room we changed and off to the beach we went. When we got back we realized that the air conditioner did not work. I called the front desk. After 4 calls they finally answer and they send their daughter up to look at it. The daughter does not even work at the hotel. She came up and said it must be a wire and left. We called the front desk back where we were told that they reached out to someone to come and look at it. An hour later still nothing. I called the front desk 17 times from my cell phone thinking maybe the room phone broke. No one answered. We then went down to the front desk twice and no one came to the door. My husband eventually went to Walmart and bought 2 fans. While he was gone to buy the fans a fight broke out a couple rooms down and again I try to call the front desk and nothing!!! Eventually someone else called the police. Our night was so miserable. We stayed up most of the night because it was too hot to sleep. We did not fall asleep until almost 3 am. The next morning I finally got someone at the front desk. He told me that he came up to our room twice and called but no one answered. He outright lied!!!! I never left the room and we were awake until 3 am. He said that he was going to give us another room. I asked for a refund and he flat out told me no. Side note.... At a rate of 180.00 per night the rooms should not be out dated, the bathroom door should be on all its hinges, there should not be cigarette butts under the chair and for certain the AIR CONDITIONER SHOULD WORK!!!!

I was very pleased with my Stay, I felt safe. Lady at front desk was so kind, and patient, as I am not a traveler, gave me the room near the Lobby, showed me how to work the Key. I am a Senior Lady, and not UP WITH all this technology. She showed me how to use the wi-fi on my phone, gave me directions how to go to a few malls. For the price I paid, I so enjoyed the room, very clean, had a Microwave & Frig. Even a sofa couch to sit on. I so enjoyed the Huge TV--just had too many channels for me to choose from. I highly recommend this place - price was great---for all I received.

A filthy establishment, cockroaches in my room. I emptied the contents of my luggage into plastic bags to be sure not to take insects with me. Inches of dust atop the air conditioning unit, mirror, lamps. Did not feel safe! I did not spend the night there, the management refused to refund my money!

Needed an overnight stay before early flight during 4th of July holiday. This hotel was extremely clean and afforadable. Looks are deceiving. If you are not picky and want a place to shower and sleep comfortably then this hotel will make due. Room is large with basic amenities such as a microwave, fridge, cable and WiFi. If your looking to vacation here and spend time in your hotel then look for other options closer to the beach or boardwalk on broadway but expect to pay especially during a holiday.

Clean comfortable room, except the traditional beach smell. Can't do much about that. The breakfast is sparse. Cereal, oatmeal and assorted Honey Buns. The pool appeared well maintained. It is convenient to CCU. The highway is laid out so that you need to perform a safety pin maneuver to get in or out . No fault of the hotel. The towels and sheets were clean. The beds, comfortable. We will use it again for overnight trips.

We stopped here , right off 501 in Conway in Sat night July 4th weekend. I knew we would pay an arm n a leg on the beach not to mention i really didnt wanna face the crowd, so the lady at the front showed me the rooms. I ended up staying 2 nights bc the price was right! Rokm was very spacious, cooled off, clean sheets, working fridge microwave n coffee maker and great water pressure in the shower. I was quite impressed. Too bad this hotel isnt on the strip bc i would definitely pick it every time. Its not 5 stars but it was comfy, clean, complimentary breakfast items and coffee, great pool for my kids, and very quiet. The only con is trying to get out of the parking lot onto 501, but hey its on a major highway!!! I had a great stay and if ever in need of a place "away" from Myrtle Beach area, this is your place! I also liked the smoking and NO smoking options. My mom is a new"non- smoker and having a great fresh non smoke smelling room was a plus!

The location is convenient to Coastal Carolina University and the price is reasonable. The nonsmoking room reeked of cigarette smoke, and condition seemed to be made worse by running the air conditioner unit. The location is right next to the highway and resulted in loud noise all through the night. I had a room on the second floor and could hear guests in room below talking until after 2:00 am. To top it off, I had to kill two large bees/wasps in the room! In the future should the need arise, I will stay closer to Myrtle Beach at a chain motel/hotel.

The motel was off the highway and I was greeted by a friendly (beautiful) woman at the front desk who happened to be the owner as well. The rooms were enormous and probably the cleanest I've ever seen. Not a speck of dust ANYWHERE. And it smelled fresh as can be, the beds were comfy and pillows fluffy. This was much cleaner than other name brand hotels I've stayed at, will stay again!
