The staff was warm and welcoming. Our room showed some wear that is expected in a busy hotel, but overall a quality product. We did not eat in the dining room because there are too many non-hotel restaurants nearby.

Comfortable hotel room, however the bathrooms very small. Located next to USC and by the State Buildings. Parking, if you have a pick-up or very large SUV can be a problem. The restaurant is OK - nothing to write home about.

This Courtyard is a bit more weathered than most. Front desk staff was excellent. I stayed in the SpringHill Suites Columbia the night prior and that was very good. Check in was easy.
