My boyfriend and I stayed at the Cabell House for just one night, coming off a three-day hike/backpack trip on Appalachian Trail on the way back to Florida. When I booked, I was very impressed to find such a nice place that was pet friendly. I was a bit surprised that weeknight rates were the same as weekend, and Randy... More

The home was beautiful, but the parking was atrocious. The bathroom in our room was almost nonexistent...I've never seen such a small sink (half a sink really). And we had the smallest television I've ever seen...probably 12". The owner wasn't on property, and it appears she has an extremely large staff of part-time employees who do the cooking. Breakfast consisted... More

My husband and I spent a wonderful weekend in Charleston, along with our Boston Terrier, Rose at this wonderful B&B across from White Point Park and The Battery. The Cabell House itself is lovely, but it is the owner, Randy Prum and her small staff, that make it so special. There is nothing overbearing or cloying about them, which can... More

Words can't express enough how much we enjoyed our stay at the Cabell House. Right when we stepped into the house I knew it was going to be wonderful! Randy and Casey were right there to welcome you. Our rooms were awesome! Breakfast was wonderful! The staff couldn't have been better!!! We had our daughters wedding there and it couldn't... More

This was my first time visiting Charleston and the Cabell House and its remarkable innkeeper Randy Prum made it more memorable and charming than I was led to anticipate. Randy knows every back street off the beaten tourist path, and I was privy to secret fountains and gardens, in addition to the up and coming areas of town. Randy could... More

I knew the owner of this little B&B many years ago when our children were in school together, but we had lost touch until another friend said to try getting a room there when we were to visit Charleston for the first time. I'm so glad we were able to stay at The Cabell House! Most of my past experiences... More

This was our second visit to Charleston and second Charleston B&B experience (of many B&B experiences around the US). Cabell House was adequate but definitely not 5 star. Although disappointing, especially considering the price and some of the 5 star reviews on trip advisor, it had some positives. The location was ideal. We parked our car upon arrival and never... My husband and I just spent four nights at this lovely B&B and we could not have been more pleased. The location is the best and the owner Randi and her assistant, Casey were so lovely and could not have been nicer. The breakfast was a full southern affair with china laid out on a white tablecloth. A beautiful experience... More

We recently stayed at this lovely home for several nights. Upon arrival, we were shown to our room, which was huge and had ample space to place clothing. In addition, there was a Keurig, which was a nice touch. There was also a tiny bathroom with shower but it served the purpose. The room was clean. We were given a... More

This B&B is only about 100 yards from the Battery sea front and the most popular parts of the Historic District are within walking distance. The owner was very helpful and even let our daughter, who lives in Charleston, have breakfast for free one day. The breakfasts were excellent and the staff were very helpful. Be aware that this is...
