My wife and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary in Charleston, SC, and chose to book our first stay at the Church Street Inn. Our selection of the Church Street Inn definitely exceeded our expectations. The location places you in short walking distance of numerous attractions, great restaurants, fun shopping, and all the wonderful charm that makes Charleston such a... More

We loved our stay at the Church Street Inn, and will definitely be back. Fantastic location (no need for a car). The unit was clean, modern, and well-appointed. There was a mix-up with our reservation from a third-party booking agent (they had inadvertantly booked two rooms, instead of one). Staff were helpful in resolving the issue and ensuring that I... This is a very good property to stay in an excellent location in the historical center of Charleston within walking distance of everything. The well furnished units are like townhouses within the main building, so you must be able to navigate stairs to access both sections of the unit. This is not a cookie cutter typical timeshare resort. The building... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Church Street Inn. As others have stated, it's in the heart of the historical section of Charleston so it was an easy walk to MANY attractions (plus there is free dash on the trolleys). The Inn itself is nicely appointed and the staff is courteous and helpful. AND Charleston is such a lovely... More

Excellent well equiped studio rooms on 2 levels. Extremely comfortable especially when the weather is bad outside. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were really pleased that we booked the Church Street Inn as it was right in the heart and soul of the old quarter and within walking distance of everything. Would certainly stay here again.

Stayed there several times. It is one of our favorite places to stay in Charleston, because you can walk everywhere. The parking lot is across the street, which isn't great but we've had worse in a dense downtown area. Liked the feel of the place, which was more like a B&B/contemporary inn rather than a generic hotel. The full kitchen... More

I have stayed in this delightful inn several times within the past five years and keep returning due to the very attentive and helpful staff, lovely accommodations and great location within walking distance of most everything downtown Charleston has to offer. The Inn is in a cyclical renovation mode, so the unit I had this time was due for another... More

I have a hard time leaving a negative review so I have developed a list of pros and cons in hopes it will help others when thinking about booking this hotel. PROS: Location - excellent - right across from the market and within walking distance to everything in the historic district. Rooms - recently renovated and a great floor plan... More

The Church Street Inn is located opposite the City Market, and a block from the carriage ride depot. It's close to restaurants, particularly Sweet CeCe's for frozen yogurt, and Hyman's Seafood. The ambiance is lovely, feeling like an elegant inn. The full kitchen was well-appointed with just about anything you would need. The staff was very friendly, courteous, and helpful.... More

Perfect location close to the Market and to the carriage tours. The two-level suites are clean and well furnished. The front desk is a bit surly and dismissive if you aren't a regular but the suites are great for small groups/families with a comfortable fold-out couch in addition to the double beds upstairs. One word of caution - they say... More
