Let me start by saying that I really like Hampton Inns. I have stayed at one on W 51st Street in Manhattan for a full week several times (not on my dime, thank the gods of travel!), at one in Ithaca New York for the better part of a week (on my dime, but better there than in NYC), and... More

We second everyone who said this Hampton Inn was clean (I didn't have to get the clean-wipes I always travel with) and comfortable, close to everything, with a courteous staff. The main thing I want to mention is what a delight Henry the Doorman is. He has a joyful attitude and has a cheerful greeting for every guest. He is... More

We stayed here for a few days for a cofc orientation session and it's super close to everywhere someone needs to be in charleston! Great restaurants nearby such as the black bean company on king and coast seafood right next door. The room was a good size but the walls must've been thin because we heard everything going on in... This hotel is easily $50 or more less than any other hotel in the historic district, but it has all the amenities we wanted: super-clean room, gorgeous pool area that was a destination in itself (and open till 10 p.m. so outdoor swimming felt special), extensive breakfast buffet (in a large room which nicely accommodated the many guests), and a... Location is right next to visitors center where you can catch tours and the free trolly. The hotel is very nice. The rooms are spacious if you get one facing the courtyard and the breakfast is good. The real attraction to me is the large courtyard and pool. There are tables to sit at and the pool is not real... More

My husband and I stayed for a long weekend in June. Very clean rooms, everything seemed recently updated, comfortable bed, great location and easy to walk to many places. It is about 1 mile from the more historic part of the city, but an easy walk or bike cab. Parking is $14/day. Breakfast was yummy! We would go back again!

The Hampton Inn was a nice hotel that was very clean with a friendly staff. And it is in a great location! Me and my wife stayed here for the weekend and we never once had to drive because of the location to the Carta. The entire peninsula area was accessible by foot if we so desired as well!

I have been traveling since I was a young child, and I have found that I usually do not enjoy mainstream hotels as much as the more locally known hotels. Those that are seclusive to the city have always felt more welcoming and comfortable. This Hampton Inn completely changed my thoughts. It has magnificent accommodations, with rooms that have two... As clean and updated modern room as any luxury hotel. I am very picky person regarding cleanliness. I am one of those that check everything when I go in the room, and so far this hotel has meet my expectations for the good quality of the mattress and how they keep those sheets and towels so white . I think... More

I stayed at this hotel for business February 2013 and thoroughly enjoyed it. Good value and very convenient location. It was nice to get out and walk around downtown after work and get something wonderful to eat at a restaurant within walking distance. The rooms were a little odd since it is a very old building, but overall the renovations... More
