My husband and I stayed in the Carriage House for two nights, clean and had a great view but does need some updating. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, would stay here again with a great deal like we purchased from Living Social.

Prospective visitors to the Palmer House should be aware that they are paying a premium for location and not for facilities. This property is run down and in need of a complete overhaul. I've stayed at the Palmer Home a number of times and every time they've treated me as an honored guest. Your can't beat the views of the harbor, the staff is efficient friendly and helpful; and I love the wine and cheese in the evening on the veranda.
