We have stayed over the past three months at both the Indigo Inn and the Jasmine House, since we needed to be in Charleston on personal business. Both Inns are extremely well run, and I particularly want to thank the Manager, Mr. Ignatius Nazareth, who accommodated last minute reservations and changes both times. We were traveling from the west coast... More

My husband and I have stayed at the Jasmine House numerous times. It is our happy place when we are in Charleston. We find the rooms to be extra large and decorated with period furnishings. We love the large porches to relax on and the courtyards are beautiful and command relaxation. The perks of fresh tea, lemon aid and fruit... More

Just returned from a three night stay in at the Jasmine inn. We chose to stay in the Carriage house on the first floor to have direct access to the courtyard. We were very pleased with our choice. The room was clean, nicely decorated, and the property was beautiful! Yes, the jasmine was in bloom and it was heavenly! The... More

We were in the Carriage House on the 2nd floor. Nice, spacious room and bath. Long (shared) veranda in the 'back' of the room that overlooked an adjacent property with main (front) view overlooking the courtyard. We went in January to take advantage of a 3-day weekend and I was a bit disappointed b/c there is no breakfast seating unless... More

..from our initial talk with Brian to the out of this world room we had right off the courtyard, the experience was high on our list of places to return to...from the downtown location to the oversized room to the bountiful breakfast, the overall days spent in the Holy City were fantastic. Brian and Ignatius were the perfect hosts taking care... More

We stayed at the Jasmine House Inn for a few days after Christmas, and had the best vacation ever. We were ensconced in a wonderfully decorated, wonderfully comfortable third floor flat just steps away from all Charleston has to offer. It was just far enough from the hustle and bustle of Meeting St, but very charming and easy to enjoy... More

The Jasmine House is fine but it you’re looking for a warm and fuzzy, talk-with-the-owners B&B experience look elsewhere. The rooms are large (the 3rd floor flat is Enormous!) and well appointed but the breakfast is served in a cramped hallway and you are left to either eat outside in the courtyard or back in your room. Afternoon wine and... More

We've stayed at the Indigo Inn (managed by the same owner) numerous times. For a weekend getaway, however, we splurged for our first stay at the Jasmine House Inn. We were not disappointed. Staying here felt like staying at home. We parked ourselves in the Commodore Room (the first floor room on the right) and relaxed all weekend. The continental... More

What a pleasant surprise for you to stay at the Jasmine House!!! Both Inns are unique in their decor and ambience, but the Jasmine House lends itself more to a romantic weekend get-a-way. Yes, since the Flat occupies the entire third floor, the rooms are spacious and the views wonderful. Thank you for your comparison between the two properties. More

We had the Bancroft room and were in awe at the large size of the room and bathroom and overall decor of the entire space. Jasmine House is a wonderfuly restored historic home and we thought surely Scarlett O'Hara and Rhett Butler must be there someplace. The wide porch with comfortable rocking chairs was a great place to enjoy breakfast... More

This was my first trip to Charleston, and I really wanted to stay in a Historic Inn. I am glad that I chose the Jasmine Inn. The Inn was lovely! The courtyard was peaceful. Our room (The Canton Room) was spacious and comfortable, and decorated beautifully. The room was bright and had access to a semi-private piazza where we sat... More
