the Owner/Manager gives the word hospitality new meaning. From his lack of assistance in helping me with my bags up two flights of stairs to his unpleasant rude manner, it was an unbelievable experience. Our room, at the top of the house, on the corner, was shabby (as is the whole place)with one small mirror in the narrow bathroom. It... More

Booked a stay here for my fiance's birthday. The owner was friendly and the house is truly lovely. We had a room with a large bath and jacuzzi tub. We did a wine tasting and relaxed in our room before going to dinner in Watch Hill. Breakfast the next morning was plentiful and delicious. We enjoyed our time here and... More

While the historic building is charming, the decor inside is tired and shopworn. Although our bathroom was updated and spacious, the towels were ripped and had holes in them. I looked forward to breakfast, but it was unexciting, bland and the coffee was beyond weak. As other reviewers have mentioned, it's on an intersection with a stoplight and the traffic... More

For the first time at a B&B, we thought it was great. The work put into it showed and the decor was very serine and relaxing. We thought breakfast was great. Some of the other post put down the owners, but we thought they were spot on. We asked about the area and they gave us some info and printed... More

Based on a HOLIDAY weekend, so-so overall. Hosts were scarely around. Tending to the winery maybe? No warm-and-fuzzy feeling B&Bs can have we have seen. Many rooms, our spacious one was facing a road very vehicle-trafficked with noisy motorcycles, service trucks. Located on a corner property. Traffic-lighted intersection. No trees or natural barriers around the location to buffer when it's... More

From the pictures on the website we expected a traditional Bed & Breakfast affording charm, peace and New England hospitality. Boy can pictures be deceiving! To begin with the facility is located on the corner [less than 50 feet] from a busy intersection of the main road to Mesquamacut Beach, fully equipped with speeding cars, loud motorcycles and periodic sirens... Very clean and comfortable. The winnepaug sweet was the nicest room in the house. Can't wait to try the wine that we bought. We were not there long enough to do a tasting. More

During a recent trip to the east coast I stayed at this B&B for about a week. The rooms were very nice and the ammenities were spot on. They recently lost the oak tree out front which is a shame but it happens. It's relatively close to the beach which turned out to be a good run/walk in the early... More

We've stayed at several vineyards with a B&B on their property, in the past, and every one of them has been a fantastic experience, so when we saw this on-line, it sounded like a wonderful option to complete our day on the Connecticut Wine Trail. We were so wrong. We arrived just before 5:00 and walked into the tasting room... More

We visited the Langworthy on the way to beautiful Watch Hill but found that it is in a wonderful location as well, within 3 blocks of a very pretty Rhode Island beach. The Inn itself is pristine and pleasant, in a beautifully maintained historic home. Breakfast was excellent, with coffee brought upstairs near the room nice early-- a thoughtful touch.... More
