ok, you're not in the best bed n breakfast, but you r centrally located, and their special mid week deal is great. you get bikes, locks, everyday, plus a 150 rest. voucher, ---catch, u can only use in in 2 places, but they're ok, the pub is better. but their service, and free breakfast, which is really good, you get... We're a middle-aged couple who bikes. This hotel was easy to get to. We just took our bikes on the ferry, then walked across the street to the hotel. They have a big room where you can leave your stuff before check-in time, so we were free to start exploring the island. It was our first time to Block Island,... More

My daughter and I spent a Tuesday overnight at this Inn, the week pre-Hurricane Irene, when the weather was exceptional and the island was jewel-like in all its glory. I was pleased to be able to reserve any room at all on the island with only 5 days lead time before our departure. Honestly, for the money, the room is... More

I've stayed at another property last year owned by Block Island Reservations, The New Shoreham House which is less expensive but you have to share bathrooms. New Shoreham would have been fine if the other guests realized it was a shared bathroom situation as well and cleaned up after themselves. This year we decided that our own bathroom was def... More

Our room was extremely small. The bathroom vanity was located in the bedroom and the air conditioner was a free standing unit that took up a lot of room. The mattress was hard. The room and bathroom were clean and the linens were fresh and clean too. The soap provided was tiny so bring your own soap. The a/c worked... More

Overall a nice hotel right in the middle of all the action. Decently clean and adequate for a two adults and a preschooler. Some details: We stayed in a 2 room "suite" at the harborside. It was a corner room, so the living area had two windows, the couch folded out to a queen bed. The bedroom also had a... More

Booked a last minute trip to celebrate an anniversary with my husband. Our room was one of the last available on the island so we knew it wasn't going to be fancy but didn't think it'd be so tiny with the dinkiest fan I've ever seen. The sun beat on our side of the building all day so we slept... More

What a neat island Block Island is! We were prepared to use the bikes that were a part of the mid-week special that included hotel, ferry, and food coupons. We were able to bike to the Southeast Lighthouse and take in the fabulous view from Mohegan Bluffs. The Harborside Inn was built in the 1800's so the rooms are small... More

Stayed here as part of a Discover Block Island mid-week special. Pkg was a great value. Hotel is located directly across from the ferry. The loaction is the best part of this hotel. Situated in Old Harbor, surrounded by shops, restaurants, bicycle & moped rentals, and a short walk to the beach. The deck has an area to sit in... More

Apparently the most inexpensive inn on the island, as most places were charging $100 or more. I paid sixty something. The Harborside is a handsome, historic building, and it's surrounded by more of the same. The location, directly across from the ferry landing, is great if you plan on walking to dinner or shops. I chose a room w/o AC... More
