A wonderful vacation and Rita and her staff treat their guests like family. The 1661 is a great place to stay and the Manisses Restaurant is superb. Will continue to visit often. Every season is unique and lovely in its own way and we are so glad the Inn is open year round.

We stayed two nights and were super comfortable. The full ocean view was so enjoyable. They let us check out late in the afternoon because we were going on the late ferry and we had activities planned for the afternoon. Our stay was part of a knitting retreat hosted by North Light Fibers.

I stayed in the guest complex to the right of the 1661 Inn, which I preferred to the main house. I believe my room was named Sprauge. Great location and views, comfortable rooms, and most importantly a terrific staff.
