I've been there a number of times (it's convenient to a place I like for whitewater kayaking) so I have enough experience to get a good sense of it. It's always been clean, comfortable (and I have a back problem), and organized. I've never bothered with the continental breakfast (the diner next door is an outstanding classic American breakfast place,...

Nothing fancy about this place. A room to sleep in between bursts of driving on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Easy to get to. Clean rooms. Low room rates. Decent wifi connection. Somewhat dated look and layout that I found oddly comforting -- a bit of nostalgia for the '60s and childhood maybe. Didn't try the continental breakfast that got a thumbs-down...

This is a very nice older motel. Clean. Nothing fancy, but has all the basics, including WI-FI. The bed was fine, but a little uncomfortable, but we are used to our Select Comfort at home, so nothing is up to those standards. If you have a problem with steps, request the first floor. The steps are outside and could get...

I booked this room through Expedia after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor—sounded like a bargain. The price was certainly lower than nearby hotels—I paid $45. However, I think I would pay a little more and stay elsewhere next time. PLUS: relatively clean; not much road noise in our room (away from the main street); couldn’t hear anyone in rooms...

Very pleased with the location and value of this motel. We read about the motel on this website and gave it a try. We read about the road noise so used the room air conditioner and did not hear anything. Would definately stay here again.
Most Budget Host Inns I stay at are around $30 to $40 a night... so when we pulled up at midnight a few days ago I expected this one to be about the same. It's not awful... $60 for the night and continental breakfast, but I was a little dissatisfied, as we could hear absolutely everything the group staying next...

The room appeared clean - but not immaculate. And it had a strange smell, probably due to the fact that they allow pets in the rooms.
The mattress on the bed was not particularly hard or soft but it was quite uncomfortable and left me with some back pain the following morning.
The TV was big and the selection of...

We chose this motel based on reviews from this site. We were looking for an inexpensive place since we came to Somerset for outdoor activity. The road noise was significant unless we kept the fan on all nite. It was a very bare-bones motel with very minimal amenities--no alarm clock, no box of tissues, very skimpy bath towels. The free...
