Your hosts, the Porters, create an environment where you spend time in the world of the opulent 1890s. Exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated with objets from around the world and across time. Fans of taxidermy will be especially thrilled. Fabulous breakfast. The Porters go out of their way to make this an experience you will not forget.

Gorgeous home. Ross and Jovanna are superb hosts. We stayed in the Dr. Freeman room which was roomy, yet cozy with its delightful fireplace. Only drawback was the poor lighting around the bathroom mirror. Absolutely the best breakfast we have encountered at a B & B. We'll be back.

Everthing was outstanding...from the ecclectic collectable collection to tasting the wonderfull local fare during the superb breakfasts. The Porter family made me feel very completely welcomed, painted a historical picture of 1890s life in the area and demonstrated first class hospitality that I have not experienced in years.
