My son and I stayed here Memorial Day weekend for 3 Pirate's games. The staff is very polite and helpful. We stayed in a 2 queen room on the 5th floor facing Mt. Washington. The beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms are larger than we expected. The breakfast is very good...their main hot dish are ham, egg and cheese... More

I consider myself a frequent traveler, and this was at the top of my list for worst hotel experiences! I stayed at the Hyatt Place North Shore with my 6 year old son, my 63 year old mother, and my 86 year old grandmother. I reserved a room with two double beds, but was told upon arrival that the only... More

I hate giving this hotel a bad review because there were so many things it does right: - Electrical outlets. Why do most hotels fail at this simple amenity, forcing guests to choose between the lamp and their electronic devices? Outlets were in abundance everywhere you'd want them, including both sides of the bed. - Free wifi, with good bandwidth.... More

Stayed there for a couple of days at the beginning of May 2012. The hotel is fairly new and in very good condition. Upon arrival the check in was very easy. The parking is beside the hotel and is $18 a day. Staff: The staff was extremely helpful at check in and even took the time to come around from... More

I was very happy with our overall experience here. My boyfriend and I stayed here for a big event downtown. Even though the hotel is tucked in a busy spot beside a highway and the baseball field, I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet and convenient everything was. The rooms were clean and really nice. The staff was probably the... More

This is seriously one of the best hotels I've ever been to. The staff made the experience more enjoyable than one could imagine. Very helpful, willing to go above and beyond, and then further. Should I visit the Pittsburgh again, this would be my first choice!

This Hyatt has everything you could ask for. I am a picky traveler; I admit it. If there were any negatives, they would include: low lighting in the bathroom where the toilet and tub/shower are located. This is an environmentally friendly hotel and I get the use of the energy friendly light bulbs, but it was pretty dark in there... More

This Hyatt Place is outstanding. The customer service at the front desk was the best I have ever received. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and were always extremely polite. Perfect location. The hotel is right next to PNC Park, 5 minute walk to Heinz Field, 10 minute walk to Science Center and Casino and... More

This is the ideal spot to be right in the middle of the sports action. Between Heinz Field and PNC Park and near all the bars and restaurants in the North Shore Area. Park the car and forget it - easy walks to everywhere. A bit pricey but worth it!!
