A friend and I visited the hotel for a weekend of baseball and the hotel is wonderfully situated downtown, within walking distance of many sights, including restaurants and all sporting venues. One hint: there is a municipal parking lot right across the street that offers $5 parking per 24 hours on weekends. So, if you're like me and hate to... More

My son and I went to the Pittsburg to see the Phillies. I mentioned this to the guy at check in, who couldn't confirm that they were staying here. I went to open my hotel room door, but was having trouble because my hands were full. A guy woalking by says, "Let me help you with that." Hunter Friggin Pence.... More

We stayed for 1 night while in town for opening night for Pittsburgh Pirates. Good location to PNC Park and has a nice restaurant with friendly bar staff. Like a previous reviewer mentioned, it is tricky finding the parking. Check in was easy and the rate was acceptable. The room was average and the bed was not very comfortable.

First of all, if you're looking for a hotel in a good, central location, this one cannot be beat. It is right in the center, walking distance to the Amtrak Station and the Megabus Stop is right across the street. There are a ton of restaurants and bars near by, and the hotel itself has a decent restaurant, Fish Market,... More

The hotel was fine, overall. The room was clean and fairly large. Room service was very quick, though when I ordered something clearly labeled on the menu, the response was, "I'll have to look that up. I don't know what that is." Check in was okay, though there was no semblance of order. There was just a mass of people... More

I was looking for a central located hotel close to Manchester Craftsman guild and downtown. We got a great price though Priceline. Neighborhood is safe. It is a little tricky finding the entrance so just be patient and drive around a little. If you cant find it park at the convention center parking lot and find it that way. Nice... More

This hotel is fine to stay at if you can get a good rate like I did through Priceline, but I would never pay their standard rate. Large room and good bed, but worn towels, ( with not enough for three people in the room), a bath tub which didn't drain right, poor service at the bar, and a very... More

I usually *love* staying in Westins, they are clean, modern and nice. This was easily the worst Westin I've ever stayed in and one of the dirtiest hotels I've stayed in a very long time! Here is the breakdown: - Our orignal room smelled really really bad. Like really horrible body odor. We tried to switch rooms around 11pm because... More

The Westin Convention Center hotel was reasonably nice. It is right next to the convention center and you can walk from one to the other without going outside. Our room was advertised as a double-double, but was actually a double-queen. Had complimentary internet with 0.5 meg service. Some mold in bathroom. Shower drain didn’t keep up. Gym pool, and hot... I spent 4 nights at the Westin for a recent convention. I had low expectations for this trip to Pittsburgh and was pleasantly surprised by the city. The hotel is attached to the convention center - although it is quite a maze to get to get over there - but great on rainy or colder days. The hotel is a... More

Thank you for your review about your recent stay. We are located just steps away from many of the downtown Pittsburgh attractions making it easy to walk to a Pirate game, a show at Heinz Hall, or to the Andy Warhol Museum. We hope you had a chance to experience some of those during your trip. We also have running... More
