We stayed two nights there in April. The first night and morning we had to ourselves and Jim and Mim were so warm and welcoming. Breakfast was incredible. So much home cooked food. We were stuffed. Jim even said a prayer and some scripture verses before the meal. Very nice. My two teenaged daughters loved helping Jim feed the goats... More

I understand and celebrate that lots of people are religious. But I really see no justification for this place's prioprietors to insist that Jesus ought to be part of all their customers' breakfasts. The cold, rubbery pancakes weren't right for me or my family, either.

We stayed two nights there in June. Room was clean, house was well kept, and breakfast was yummy! Tractor ride and animal feeding were a big hit with our son. Both the room and the bathroom have A/C, which was much needed in those warm summer nights. Highly recommended.

Our family of 5 had the priviledge of visiting the farm for a night. When we arrived, there was a note on the door stating the owner was busy but to make ourselves at home and settle in. We unloaded our bags to our room and headed out to the yard where we were greeted by kittens. Our 3 kids... More

This was our family's first bed and breakfast working farm stay and it was such a memorable one. Even though our stay was awhile ago, our memories are still vivid and pleasant as ever. Jim and Mim are very hospitable. When I say "hospitable" I'm speaking of people who are genuine, warm-hearted and caring and treat their guests like family.... More

I am pretty much in agreement with the other reviewers. For our 2 girls (7 and 12) this was a great place to stay and have some exposure to the world of farming, particularly dairy farming. Great breakfast, very kind hosts, very clean, well maintained and organized property. I will certainly recommend it to others thinking of staying in the... More

Jim and Mim were great! Our three year old loved the experience and so did my wife and I. We will visit again.

Wife and I, along with two grandsons (aged 8 and11) spent two overnights at this farm/B&B located near Mount Joy, PA. The house was very well kept as well as the surrounding property. Two other families with children were also there. Breakfast, served family style, included: egg casserole, breads, juices, coffee, milk sausage and cobbler was very good. All the... More

We just returned from the Country Log House and Farm. What a wonderful place. Jim and Mim are fantastic hosts. My kids weren't sure how they were going to like staying on a farm, but when the time came to leave they were sad. They did chores with Jim of collecting eggs, feeding the goats and sheep and even attempting... More

You try making a vacation with two 15 year olds, and a 9 and 10 year old. Well, our stay with Jim and Mim started off on a positive note for everyone, just driving up to the farm. The place is clean, charming, and who can resisit the kittens? The room was clean, and pleasant. Breakfast was very good like... More
