Penns Creek Mountain Lodge provided a beautiful, peaceful setting in a rural area surrounded by pines and the popular fly fishing creek. Our hosts, Jim and Cindy Hoover, were extremely hospitable and friendly, greeting us upon arrival and offering help along the way. The Lodge itself is a work of art, much of it handcrafted by Jim Hoover.

It's set right near Penns Creek with a clear view south towards a Bald Eagle National Forest ridge. The lodge featured beautiful woodworking and stone fireplaces and the caretaker kept the fires going and had ready answers for all our questions about... More
