Just below where the Lackawaxen and Delaware rivers merge, and in sight of the fully restored Roebling bridge you'll find the Inn at Lackawaxen. Sitting outside at dusk overlooking the river is a delight and so is the varied menu. The very large indoor dining room is tastefully decorated with interesting art. Last time there I was a part of... More

Never a bad meal, reasonably priced food, nice sized portions, and a great view of the river! I have been here a few times and always look forward to making a stop here when I'm in the area. Summer months you can relax on the deck overlooking the river but its a nice area to visit any season.

For many years, my husband has taken trips to the Lackawaxen River for kayaking trips with his friends. He likes the area so much that we decided to spend a few days there for our anniversary. We stayed at The Inn at Lackawaxen, Lackawaxen, PA. It was unlike any bed and breakfast or hotel we've ever visited. Nestled in between... More

This is a lovely bar, restaurant and hotel. The bulk of the business is the bar restaurant, this is how the owner makes his money! He took this place from nothing, NO business, and created a great little spot. This is a local spot, not a chain or some big corporation, set your expectations,it is a single owner doing the... More

All I can say about the Lackawaxen Inn in Lackawaxen, PA is that it was a total Nightmare! We choose the Inn as a quiet place to stay while my family & I were attending a wedding in the close by town of Eldred, NY. From the website the Inn looked as peaceful of a place as they come. What... More

I was booked in a "suite", opened door found dirty sock on floor (not mine)! It shared space with several bugs. When we checked in, it was required to be paid in full for all 3 nights. Now i figure it was because we would have left asap. My car was keyed (scratched), owner said it could not possibly have... More

My husband and many of my relatives spent this past weekend at the inn. We were there to celebrate the marriage of my nephew which took place in nearby Eldred, N. Y.. My sister booked seven room there well in advance after checking out their website. I went to their website as well which made the inn look quite charming.... More

My recent stay at the Inn was likely the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel, inn, or B&B. On the positive side, the inn is located with a nice view directly on the Delaware River and features a restaurant with serviceable food (we dined for lunch one day during our stay). However, we stayed 2 nights while in... More

The 2 existing reviews are for dining at the Inn, which we did once during our stay and it is true that we had good service in the restaurant and the Inn has a nice view of the river with ok food. However, we stayed here on a Friday and Saturday night and felt the need to give a terrible... More

We stayed in the Inn for Memorial Day weekend. We were going to see a set of concerts at Bethel Woods. With all the big hotels in the area booked, we found this place. The rates were extremely reasonable and it was only about half an hour from the venue (for those that don't know, there's not a whole lot... More
