It's winter, it's a litle remote but it's not sad, it's beautiful. If it wasn't such a long way from Brisbane, we would be back regularly. The cabins were very clean, had everything we needed (including reverse cycle on the A/C) and the setting is great. The continental breakfast that was included in our rate was good (filter coffee was... More

It would appear travellers are not prepared to pay for the eco-style resort. The units are big, the furnishings generous and comfortable, the screened verandahs are great and the staff obliging. But, it was virtually deserted and had a sad, depressed feel about it. Staff put on a brave smile, but it was strained, and you could sense a feeling... More

My partner found this place whilst we were on the road. A little more than we were paying but worth it. It was so nice to have some real comfort. We ended up staying for two nights. The staff were helpful and the swimming pool very welcome. I seem to recall that there was 60 mins free internet and a... More

We stayed for 5 glorious days. The villa was spotless and perfect and decked out really well The kids entertainment areas indoor and outdoor were just awesome. The kids pool and slide and the bigger pool were great. My wife and I took turns at the day spa while eachother layed in the sun and played with the kids in the... More

We have stayed here twice for one night. The resort is quite large and not the usual type of place that we would choose to stay. One of the staff on reception was very off-hand and the other was charming. The accommodation is fairly basic but generous in size - our unit consisted of a bedroom with no window, bathroom... More

If you're happy to get in your car & drive 3 minutes to the heart of Yamba, this place is great. We went as a couple however it would also be great for young families as there is a nice kids pool. Restaurant and Day Spa on site. We got a deal online which included breakfast. We stayed in one... More

Genuine circumstances prevented us from staying at resort, rang 2 days prior (as stated in terms and cknditions) to cancel and was asked if staff could ring back as they were too busy. When I was phoned back I was advised that I would have to forfeit entire deposit ($170) as was half an hour too late due to their... More

Found this secluded gem just after a quick tour of Yamba. What a contrast ? Angourie Resort is tastefully & sensitively designed in the midst of the huge natural Australian forest surrounding the road to Angourie. The modern accommodation was very well appointed, clean and [contrary to some previous reviewers] we thought it was good value. As may be expected,... More

We'd read mixed reviews about this place when researching accomodation in Yamba, so we did not book. We did'nt see the apartments but for the difference in price I would recommend going straight for a villa. Awesome setup for a nice little family getaway. The weather wasn't that great but it still felt comfy to be inside the place, plus... More

We stayed here recently with two kids and the place was immaculate. The villa we stayed in was massive, had all very new, very modern and very clean furniture, had dining facilities indoor and in our own private insect screened outdoor area. We just loved the place. We had food from the restaurant as room service and it was devine.... More
