We stayed 2 nights in early January, lovely rooms, nice and clean, comfortable bed, a very laid back beach shack feel about it. Bathroom not modern but functional. The motel is possibly the closest to Yamba main surfing beach. Rooms at the front have views to the north to the main beach and also the Clarence River mouth. Rooms 2, 4 and 5 and the loft are located on the first floor (above ground level) and rooms 3-5 share an outside deck that has views to the beach.... More

Stayed at The Surf Motel for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Couldn,t get a better location overlooking the main beach at Yamba. Stayed in the Loft room which was really comfortable and has everything you needed. The managers are so friendly and helpful. We would certainly stay here again if ever visiting Yamba.

We only stayed for one night in an oceanview room with balcony on the first floor, which was more like a little self contained apartment with kitchentte, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Check in was warm and friendly. The rooms were clean, well equipped and the view of the ocean lovely. We would definitely stay in the Surf Motel again.

Stayed overnight and the room we had was modern, very clean, and suited for a one night stay. It was downstairs without the view and very small.
