Our friends were getting married in Jim Thorpe and we were booked in here. I was worried due to the plethora of bad reviews so much so that I tried to call and have the reservation moved to The Inn (where we had breakfast every morning). I am very glad we didn't. It was just lovely inside. There was no... More

I initially wrote a review for "The Inn at Jim Thorpe" because I thought it was all one establishment. I was wrong and am glad to have the chance to amend my thoughts. My initial review was written the night before I thought I was going to check out. I was forced by circumstance to stay a full week. My... More

When we checked out early after I woke up puking and had a fever And couldn't turn my head or use my shoulders, the lady at the desk was nice enough to refund our money we pre paid for the second night, then was so kind to tell us they have complaints about... My husband and I stayed one night at the Broadway House and it felt like we were staying at Grandma's house. Just don't expect the feel of a hotel b/c it is a house. The back patio and hot tub were a hit. Neighbors weren't too happy with all of us as our party filled the house. We got a... More

We had never been to Jim Thorpe, but were going to a concert at Penns Peak and decided to stay overnight at the Broadway House. We only saw our room, halls and common area rooms, but felt the place needed redecorating. Our bedroom was dreary and small, not very romantic. The entire place had the smell of air freshner or... The rooms were nice, but the outdoor area was incredible. The outdoor hot tub was large and the three levels of seating were beautiful. My husband and I went with another couple and really loved the Broadway house and the free breakfast that you got at the Jim Thorpe Inn. It would have been even more fun if we came... More

We stayed here 2 nights last weekend and found all very nice. The converted house is large with 2 big sitting rooms and a spacious backyard which also contains a hot tub (which needed some more water in it but otherwise worked fine). It is located a short walk to the center of town and being a little off the... More

The rooms had paper thin walls, doors and floors. We heard every whisper in the hallway and tiptoe above us. The construction, furnishings and bathrooms were cheap and flimsy - nothing wooden and olden like the outdoor photo would suggest. The reception is a few blocks away, and when i tried calling I was put on hold for over 10... More

First, if you are there on or near a weekend, you may be parking a quarter of a mile away, if you are lucky. The Broadway House has a garage but with not nearly enough spaces, and, anyone who has been to Jim Thorpe when it is busy, knows that there is no parking. The next nearest lot for The... More

We decided to stay at the Broadway House because my husband did not want the cluttered feel of a B&B, but I wanted to stay in downtown Jim Thorpe. We were put off by the "coziness" of the photos of the "Inn at Jim Thorpe", and thought the rooms at Broadway House seemed much more expansive and relaxing. In reality,... More
