Sheila and Bob welcomed us into their home and could not have been better hosts. Their bed and breakfast has a lot of history (which they will be glad to share with you) and is decorated tastefully and appropriately for the history. We enjoyed talking to Sheila and Bob about business, Jim Thorpe, and pretty much everything else under the... More

Went up for the winterfest and had a great time as usual, and Bob and Sheila were a big part of that. We had the pleasure of meeting more interesting people and sharing more stories with Bob and Sheila. Breakfast was awsome and we even had a cocktail hour, that was a nice touch.Bob and Sheila are like family to... More

Sheila and Bob have beautifully renovated (lincrusta! beautiful woodwork!) this Victorian home just past the Opera House in historic Jim Thorpe (i.e., great location) and are most welcoming. We enjoyed thoughtful amenities like a small fridge in the hall, and lots of interesting books both in our room and in the library. Comfy room, luxurious linens, rich red decor; its... More

We went up to celebrate my girl friends birthday and Sheila took care of everything, she arranged to have a cake waiting for us at breakfast and an afternoon massage ( that my girl friend loved ), she also surprised us with a bottle... We've stayed here 2x and really enjoyed ourselves each time. The rooms are quaint and pretty, there is some very nice common space, the food is terrific, and the hosts are marvelous and warm. We feel very at home here and yet taken care of at the same time (although it's a B&B, not a hotel, for those of you... More

We booked a room at the Gilded Cupid at the last minute, taking a advantage of our only weekend free while our kids were at sleepaway camp. Sheila and Bob were the ultimate hosts, making our stay more than comfortable in their beautiful victorian home. Our room was tastefully decorated in cozy period charm with modern luxurious touches such as... More

Wonderful getaway weekend in Jim Thorpe. Bob and Sheila greeted us upon arrival and were the definition of hospitality. Our room was lovely, very comfortable. The linens and towels were top notch and so soft that you paused for a moment to enjoying the feeling. We like to hike and had a few trips in mind. Bob had maps and... More

This trip was a gift from my children to me and my husband for my birthday and it was the best gift that I received this year! Not only is this bed and breakfast charming and cozy, we had the best breakfasts of our lives there! Whenever we needed a suggestion for entertainment or dining, Sheila led us to the... More

We were delighted with the convenient location, comfortable rooms, and amazing breakfasts. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The private bath was a wonderful claw-footed large tub that was so relaxing.
