Park facilities were great, pool, camp kitchen, shower block, all good. Climbing frames, kids activities, all well looked after. Yes its under the flight path dont the kids love it, in fact after a few hours you harly notice, didnt hear the road noise but did have a great time.

Stayed here for 3 nights, park backs onto highway, high traffic noise. Also under coolangatta flight path, noisy with air traffic day/night. Park not really near anything, can walk to river however. On a lighter note, park well maintained, great facilities & kids area. Nice pools with slide. Amenities very clean.

Tiny camp sites if you have a caravan, leaves very little room for your car, we had to park ours under the annex of our van. we have stayed in many great caravan parks this was not one of them. We were very disappointed and left after one night, If you are staying here and need a powered site make sure you ask for a concrete slab we were put on loose dirt apparently the slab had been ripped up 6 months earlier and no further... We stayed in one of the Coolabah cabins 2 bedroom with spa. The cabin was excellent in that it was modern, spotlessly clean and well appointed with everything you need and expect in a self contained cabin. The park is very well run and has external bbq areas overlooking a beautiful natural billabong plus it has heated outdoor swimming pools.... More

Tweed Billabong has very nice cabins. When the planes fly over it is cool.

A weekend away, weather perfect resort facilities excellent, however as like the others we spoke too while here, you just cannot get a full nights sleep. When the planes stop, the noise from the freeway and trucks is constant allnight. Would we stay again, yes as long as we remembered our earmuffs!
