A great Budget Group motel - has been refurbished/painted with one wall left unpainted as a feature wall - a very good look. LCD TV, with free pay TV, microwave and table & chairs. Room is well kept with nice quality furniture and extremely clean. Bathroom is fresh looking and functions well. Lovely wall hangings, soft furnishings and comfy bed.... More

“Wh pay twice as much across the border?”

This motel is very close to the border, and very well-priced. My room had a toaster and a microwave, as well as the usual kettle and fridge. I was a bit unsure of booking into the South Tweed Motor Inn as there were no reviews online about it and it is part of the Budget Motel Chain which made me wonder if it was like a big hostel.
