We recently spent one night in this hotel. It was built in the early 60's, and apparently nothing has been done to the accommodation since then. The room was small with depressing pine panelling. The bathroom was small with seemingly the original fittings. There seems to be no provision for the disabled, which I find surprising. The breakfast was horrible.... More

Older style and small rooms... But very comfortable , bed was great one of the best. The shower was great after a long day on the bike. The restrauant requires a special mention (dinner only) the selection of wines and food was comprehensive and the service excellent. The rooms are (too) small and desperately need modernising (as does the rest of the hotel). All in all, an average hotel in every aspect but the staff are very good. I would stay here again as the excellent service does make up for some of the short- comings. More
