My friend and I really enjoyed our two night stay at Peaceful Palms. A bit like "home away from home" - the place you want to come back to. Peter and Kaye did more than expected to make us feel special, eg even posting something forgotten after we had left. We absolutely loved our breakfast, and were glad we stayed... More

Terrific value for $$'s. Palm Room very spacious - especially as I was the only one there. Three beds all to my self. Had Poached eggs first morning and then could not miss them the next two mornings. Saw Bower Birds, Black Cockatoos, Honey eaters right from my balcony. I was in town for a family event and found this... More

Nice enough, good value, B&B. Nice room, patio off room, lounge downstairs for guest use. Had a fridge downstairs available (standard size!) for guest use, too. The town wasn’t the most exciting stop of our stay, but it was in the right location for a night’s stay. Although their website didn’t mention internet, we were able to log on to... More

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. You must have stayed at many places during your month holiday. Yes, the town is quiet especially at night - some people like that. More

Peter and Kaye have a pretty great setup where they are. Overlooking green fields, it's relaxing sitting on the balcony and just looking around. They were very friendly, welcoming, and they cook a great breakfast with a large selection to choose from. The rooms, including the ensuite are a good size and are comfortable, and for a fraction of the... More

The Hosts are fantastic, the breakfasts are great (fresh & a varied menu) and the bedrooms/lcommon areas are spacious, comfortable and have a very relaxed atmosphere..... Each room has a private balcony which... More

I stayed for one night on my way home. Very relaxing, good location and friendly hosts. Would diffinietly recommend to someone looking for relaxed place to stay and very close to all Hunter Valley attractions. Great for easy access to freeway.

Spacious modern rooms in quiet area, overlooking green fields. Close to river and town with ample shops including a Woollies and a Dan Murphy's. Breakfast was excellent. For other meals, there is some choice in town. Avoid the Bowling Club. This was a good spot to split a 'cruise' from Sydney to Armidale. MWH (Sydney)
