This has been our choice of motel in Kiama for 20 years, but no more. When we turned on the air-conditioner it immediately stopped working. When we sat on the bed the bedhead thumped on the wall at the slightest movement. The new manager offered the only other room available on the basis that it was "a little smaller" and... More

The room had a large, comfortable bed - excellent! There was some noise from painters working on site, which is understandable, I did not find it a problem. Also loud noise from a digger operating across the street, but this is outside the scope of the motel to do anything about. The motel is under new management. I found all... More

This is a mixed review. I chose the Kiama Cove because of the location near the surf beach and the expected peaceful sound of the waves. Sadly this was not allowed to be the case. At 0700 am a contract teenager woke us up outside our glass bedroom door. He was scrapping paint off the metal balcony rail. Simultaneously a... More

This had just been taken over by the original owners who had leased it to someone who had let it slide. They had started a major refurbishment and could not have been pleasanter and more accommodating. Our room had a view of the beach and was clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was surprisingly good - orange/apple juices, cereal, bread... More

This motel has recently changed management and what a difference it has made. The staff are lovely and couldn't do enough to make my stay comfortable. There are brand new king size beds, new pillows, new decor, new carpet and fresh paint. It is within walking distance to all the shops at Kiama and the patrolled beach is just across... More

Since I have been without a car (last 4 years), this motel has been like a new home away from home for me. I chose it initially because it had waterviews and was close to the station. My initial reaction was very positive and so I have been returning 2-3 times every year since. The Motel Staff are lovely and... More

We stayed as a family travelling down the south coast on a well needed break. It has everything a hotel room needs, it fully accomodated our requests! the staff were very pleasant and hard working. Gabby, the Housekeeper, was very efficient and went to the trouble of finding us a few extra comforts for our room such as a DVD... More

The staff was extremely rude. The motel was dirty and the room was awful. Do not waste your money!

my partner and i stayed here and were disappointed with the room and service. We were told after paying for the night that we could not smoke on the balcony. Fair enough too i say after all we were having a relapse and appreciate it for the dirty filthy habit that it is. However, when we enquired why we were... More

We paid $185 for a deluxe king room (booked online), what a ripoff! The "king size bed" was 2 singles of different heights (not much good for a romantic weekend) to say the least, TV was old and blurry and not HD, handbasin tap was difficult to turn on and off and there was a loose tile on the bathroom...
