Price a bit too steep for old rooms, worn carpets and no breakfast, but other than that it offers a clean bathroom, central location and an acceptable list of amenities (including a fridge, microwave, fresh milk etc.). More

We were staying in hay on our way back to Sydney and paid $113 for a room. We walked in and absolutely stunk, the room looked like it hadn't seen light in months or had been cleaned. We stayed in the room for about an hour but the smell became unbearable so we left. We kept the room as it... More

If the room was not suitable for your requirements, the key should have been returned immediately and a refund would have been made (however, not after the room was used for one hour!). The room was required to be fully cleaned after your departure, and could not be re-let until the following day. Management and staff pride themselves on the... More

Have stayed at this motel many times travelling between Adelaide and Sydney. Have noticed marked improvements with the current owners who will go out of their way to help with information on the area. Had lovely hot breakfast before heading on our way and will stay again on the next trip. A credit to them for all the hard work... More

This motel is right in the main shopping area, but it is not noisy. Facilities are adequate and comfortable without being luxurious. It is good value for money. More

The room smelt awful, perhaps there had been smokers in here recently, it needed a good air. The worse thing was the carpet which looked and felt dirty. Also, the TV was on the bench, too low to watch while in bed. Only got 3 TV stations. The beds and bathroom were clean and the service friendly. More

We stayed here for one night as a stopover on the way to Canberra. It was cheap, $97 per night, and that is all we needed as we weren't there for long. It was clean and tidy, but the downside was that it had a very musty smell in the room. The beds were also hard, so we did not... More

Hay is a popular stopover for people driving from Sydney to Adelaide and there area number of motels in the town. At $85 a double the Inlander is cheaper than many and while the rooms are dated they are perfectly adequate. Hay is an interesting little town and it is worth spending a few hours there. More

We stayed here for a one night stopover on our way west - a common experience I imagine. This hotel is not fancy, but neither it is expensive. The room was very clean and tidy, the beds were comfortable, and the staff were friendly. Because the town of Hay is a kilometre or so away from the highway we had... More
