Excellent room & a friendly welcome after a long day of travelling. Would definitely recommend. Stayed at the Nicholas Royal Motel on our trip over & for a similar price get a much better room & very comfortable bed at the Saltbush. more

My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of staying at the Saltbush Motor Inn in July en route to Broken Hill. We had the most wonderful time and couldn't wait to stay there a second night on the return journey! The location is central, in walking distance to everything! Despite being on the main street, it was very quiet! The... more

My husband, our 5 month old son and I stayed in The Saltbush overnight on our way to Adelaide. The staff were very friendly and accommodating with our late arrival. The rooms were fabulous, new, clean and very comfy. The staff had put milk in the fridge for us and turned the heater on so we had a cosy arrival.... more

High quality, modern and pleasant motel. Slight downsides: I was unable to connect to the WiFi, and I had some concerns that the walls were not well sound insulated. No problem if you have quiet neighbours, however I was woken at 2.00am by loud shouting in the street, presumably by patrons from the nearby pub. more

Unfortunatley our customer had the wrong password, we change it from time to time , Customers just need to ask at reception, its ADSL 2 Broadband and is wireless into each suite all FREE. There was a domestic despute in the main street on that night, the polce were called to the noise around 2am and it was all done...

We had travelled from Adelaide on a day when the temperature hovered around 41 degrees. Then there are the almost treeless plains north of the Murray - even the flies were taking shelter. Probably anywhere with airconditioning and cold water wold have been welcome after this. We did not expect much in an outback town, but the Saltbush was a... more

Rated 4 stars the property is quite new and well furbished and fresh smelling without perfume as you would expect. The family room is one large room with queen and two singles. It also has a small kitchenette area... more

This place is an oasis in the desert that is the Hay plains. Salt Bush offers all and more of the comforts you would expect from a city motel like the Stamford. We took our two very energetic boys who were well entertained with the pool. LOVED the home cooked yo-yo biscuits on arrival and the GORGEOUS managers and staff.... more

I recently went for a short ride on my Harley from Melbourne to Sydney the scenic way. I found myself going accross the Hay Plains about 7.30pm with a numb bum. I arrived a the Saltbush Motor Inn about 8.00pm to a very warm welcome from Gary one of the owner.I was on a $40,000 motor cycle and was worried... more

What a fabulous place to stay. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that we would come across such a warm welcoming oasis in out back and I mean outback NSW. Elle & Gary are wonderful host and made us feel like family. The rooms are spaciouse and well set up and the pillows are sooooo comfortable. Everything was... more
