This was the first time =, Family of 2A and 2 Children (3-6), asked for a room and got an excellent open plan room suitable for us. It was spacious and allowed us the room needed for the family to move. Excellent service was provided by the staff and in the morning a nice continental breakfast (including the home made... More

We have stayed at the Sovereign Motel at Gundagai several times on our way home to Sydney from Melbourne. It is very comfortable and clean. It is quiet with no traffic noise. On 2 occasions we have had dinner in our room from their restaurant and each time were very happy with the meals we were served. We will continue... More

A social group of 30 of us booked well in advance with this motel for a stay of 3 nights, (Friday, Saturday Sunday) and we were very surprised and disappointed to return to our rooms after 3pm on Saturday to find they had not been serviced. Upon enquiring and requesting a fresh towel, I was told "We don't service our... More

The rooms were adequate, but needs a spruce up, had a residual smell coming from somewhere, but not enough to drive us out. Breakfast was ordinary, would not have it a second time.

Family suite for 4 was perfect for our stopover. Very friendly staff who recommended places to eat in town. Very clean. Decent beds. Children liked it.

Very bad decision to stay in the studio room. Very small, no room to get around, nice bathroom but no window, small windown way up over a small sink. Very old TV on ceiling, remote did not work, had to stand on chair to change channels, rooms were in building where Reception and restaurant are. Other rooms separate, would have... More

A great place to stop for a night. Friiendly staff and a large comfortable room which was great for our family - 2 adults and boys aged 6 & 9. I loved the fact that the toilet and bathroom were separate and that the boys each had their own bed. The matresses were SO comfortable!. We would recommend the Soverign... More

On our way to Melbourne, from Sydney. it was an ideal place to stop, when traveling with 2 children. It was easy to find, the rooms were clean and plenty of space. We found the rooms nice and warm when we arrived. The service was excellent, nothing was to much and always happy to help and chat. Great place to... More
