We have travel throughout Australia and stayed at many 5 star hotels but none of them have matched the cleanliness of the Cooee at Gilgandra. It is a 3 1/2 but much far superior to other hotels of this rating. Hats of to the owners!

I booked for 1 night and stayed for 2, a big clean room, nice new digital TV, park at the door and under cover, well maintained gardens out the front, and the mixed grill . . . The cooee motel Is an excellent place for anyone. The beds were terrific and the room was so clean you could lick the floor. The location would be the only downfall as it was not right in town but it didn't matter as much because of the wonderful b&b facilities.

Quite possibly not the least expensive motel in Gilgandra, there are a number to choose from, however the Cooee offers superior vista from font doors of the rooms. Staff are extremely pleasant and easy to talk with and the home cooked meals which are delivered to your room provide reasonable variety and excellent value.

My wife and I arrived at The Cooee Motel tired and cranky. The Hosts, Tony and Lois's wonderful welcoming personalities immediate put us on side with them and their establishment.
