This was a pleasant place to stay. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was quiet and comfortable. It was advertised as having a kitchenette which was the main reason we chose to stay there, but there were no hotplates, oven or even a microwave. Fortunately we had brought our electric frypan so we managed with that.

Thank you for your feedback. We do advertise our Executive rooms with a Kitchenette that is a stylish compact cupboard with a sink, toaster, jug, plates, cups & saucers and cutlery. We do not advertise cooking facilities such as a stove top in these rooms. There are fully self-contained units for all your cooking needs that are available for an extra... More

This was chosen for the availability of a two bedroom room. It was spacious and clean but very outdated. The bathroom had a burnt smell. The tv did not receive free to air channels. The kitchenette consists of a microwave and bar fridge. No sink as part of the kitchenette. Could not try the restaurant as it was closed. Reasonable... More

We apologize for any inconvenience. Our family rooms are older style and are being renovated and as for the smell in bathroom it has been attended to and is under control. Our family rooms do have a kitchenette with crockery, cutlery, toaster & jug but they are not advertised with a stove and sink. We do have other rooms available... More

My daughter and I stayed one night on our stopover from Brisbane to Melbourne. As we were both driving I particularly wanted us both to have double beds which is how we came across the Amber Court. We ended up in the "house" which would have been excellent for a large group. My daughter had a lovely relaxing bath and... More

This lovely motel was a great place to stay on our trip. Being a group of 10 and calling on short notice, was no trouble. We arrived weary and Jan made us feel very welcome and even opened the restaurant especially for us as they were short staffed. We had a delicious meal in the restaurant and enjoyed their hospitality.... More

Stayed the one night in a family room. The room was quite spacious, beds comfortable, clean enough. The kitchenette was well equipped so we had no problems making our own breakfasts. TV was nice and big. .A couple of things are in need of refurbishment, but still it's fine for one night's stopover. It is very convenient to find, being... More

I stayed here twice. First time was not to bad. Second time was awfull. Room wasn't clean very old and smelly. Try to avoid it. Everything looks ancient and the bedside had marks from a coffee or tea cup still. Bathroom was stinky. We all felt uncomfortable. It was not a pleasent stay.

We have lots of different reviews and from lots of different people and the majority are very positive. Our motel was built 1970's and all of our Executive rooms and family have been refurbished in the last 8 years. Us as Motel owners and our staff cater to please and to make you comfortable. If there was a problem with... More

Amber Court is on the North East approach to Coonabarabran on the Newell or Oxley Highway' It is an older style motel which has various styles of rooms and apartments, but the Queen Delux room that we stayed in had been refurbished and was very clean and comfortable. It had a kitchenette, which appeals to us grey nomads who like... More

The motel is on the road into town (coming from the north), so is easy to find. The rooms are reasonably priced, have everything you would expect and are clean. No surprises, nothing fancy, just a good value, simple motel.

Booked day in advance by phone. On arrival staff friendly, room clean and excellent useable layout. Excellent meal and service. I had Pasta dish with fresh cooked pasta and sauce, not a frozen meal. Garlic bread made fresh with real garlic and heated in oven, no microwave zapping. I travel for work purposes and this is my first stay here... More

Stayed here on my trip back from Melbourne to Brisbane. I rang ahead and booked a family suite. They were really helpful and accommodating as I wasn't arriving till late. It was very clean and probably better than the average motel travelling from Melbourne to Brisbane. The town has a really nice feel to it as well.
