We arrived here after a heart breaking funeral service and were treated so kindly, in my distress I must have not booked for both of my children and they not only changed rooms for us, but brought in a great bed for my son and were altogether beyond their call of duty and most caring. We choose to stay here based on some of the positive previous reviews we decided to stop for the weekend in Byron on the eat back from Qld. This place has everything you could want and more, the more is kids, so if your a bit impartial to them there may be a couple, but overall a very good resort.... More

website is completely deceiving, this is a motel not a hotel.. room service is awful.. to pay those rates and then beg for another toilet roll.. not acceptable. rooms are large, but completely out dated.. simply not a resort that you could relax and read your book.

We stayed here 10 years ago and again in 2012. Benn and Lesley were wonderful and we really appreciated how strict they are on keeping a nice quiet ambience - no loud music or drunken parties here. It's everything a couple or small family needs - superb accommodation, access to the beach and shops. The pool and BBQ area is just as gorgeous. The location was handy and the room I had was nice but there was no value for money. The room came with one roll of toilet paper and bath towels, there was no room service considering they charge premium rates. Additional toilet rolls, hand soap or clean bath towels come at a charge - there is no value for money.... More

We stayed at the Beachcomber for two nights in January. The staff were really nice and we were immediately impressed by the size and cleanliness of the room. Cant wait to go back! The moment we arrived, we were stocked. Beautiful rooms,amazing! Just like being at home. The pool and spa, Well! Wish it was my back yard.! Just a quick walk into town! Im in love!!!!
