this is the 10th time I have stayed there. My double room was vacuumed and clean towels everyday and sheets every 3 days. They have made great strides in cleanliness. The shared bathrooms were scrubbed everyday. Some of the dorms were a bit messy simply because of the occupants but thats modern backpackers of today. The shared kitchen was kept... More

The hostel is a 15 minute walk outside of Byron Bay town. But it is right across the road from the beach which is much quieter than Byron Bay main beach. We stayed in an 8 bed female dorm. There was a kitchenette and ensuite. The room was a bit grubby and the bathroom was dirty. The lighting is poor... More

The Byron Beach Resort is located across the road from Belongil Beach, so it is in a fabulous location! I have therefore stayed there two years in a row over the Easter long weekend. We come back for the location, not the trimmings nor the Easter prices!!! The accommodation, on the otherhand, is pretty average but I stayed here will... More

Terribly disapointed with our stay here. We had paid for a studio room with balcony. Unfortunately right next to the balcony and main window was a faulty hot water system with a loud fan which made a disturbing and loud whirring sound throughout the day and night. The noise was clearly audible from inside the room even with the door... More

When I first got to Byron bay, I spent the 1st night in some crappy little caravan paying 110$ for the night. I walked around a little and found this amazing hostel. I got the bests room in the place; a large room with a tv, fridge, ensuite bathroom with a hot tub & huge balcony with a hammock and... More

This is the first time I have visited Byron Bay, so this place was suggested by a friend. The room was a private motel style with ensuite, bar fridge, kettle and TV. It was a small room but had a balcony facing the ocean. The only problem was that it faced the main street and was situated above the office... More

We were staying in the same street at a different resort and had decided to extend our stay, so went to have a look at the accomodation here to see if it was worth moving. I was given a key to an empty unit to go and view it. Quite frankly for the price i was quoted, I was shocked... More

I have stayed here a few times over the years, and the place has recently had a change of owners. The front of the property is mainly back packer style, with dorms and rooms around a tropical garden area. At the back however, and much more private, are 4 'cottages'. They have a small living area, with basic cooking facilities,... More

We went to Byron Bay for a 3 day stay, and Belongil Beach House was good for the price. We booked a 2 bed room. The bedlinens were clean but the wooden floors and walls could have done with a wash with some water and grønsåp (soap for wood).. The biggest let down with this place was the lack of... More

I went to Byron for a four-day extended weekend break. The Beachhouse was one of the few spots that had vacancies at short notice for a reasonable price. The rooms were basic but adequate. The hammocks surrounding the courtyard were also a fantastic way to wind down. I would highly recommend this property if you want a quick and easy... More
