A really nice hostel with a great facilities which would have been fine but the staff absolutely ruined(majority of the staff but not all) it for me and other travelers i met. Would not be rushing back there.

I was there in september 1998 having an excellent time. Nice guys and girls, great barbecues, and clean rooms, bathrooms/showers. Backpackers Inn was run down, expensive and maintained by a set of rude and pretty unwelcoming staff. It felt more like a boarding house than a proper hostel, and was always overrun by large groups who took up most of the communal areas making it hard to socialize if travelling solo or in a small group.
