“Relaxing”

A friend recommended this place to me 12 years ago and it's my favourite place to stay in Australia! I love that the house is hidden away on a quiet street but only a couple of minutes from the high street and the markets. The beach is 10 mins walk away. The house is immaculate and has everything you need.

We booked into this accommodation ''the Queen Studio' for two nights...On arriving at the property we parked up and took ourselves off round the back through the garden. “Barb's is grand ya flamin galaar!”

Myself and a friend spent 4 nights here in January 2013 and have to say it was a delight staying here. Centrally located, clean and really friendly hosts, happy to go out of their way for you. Try and get the studio apartment as it's self contained. We would definitely recommend this place.

Barbara's Guesthouse is without doubt one of the best we've stayed in while in Australia. Charming, clean and centrally located, we couldn't have asked for better. Special thanks to Rick and Virginia for looking after us so well when Cyclone Oswald rolled into town! See you again guys!

I have been coming to Byron for years and have stayed in various places from fancy, to average to camping. I thought this was a great place, very quaint, clean, quiet, accessible. But also, the fact that I could just book the place for one night as opposed to most places 'minimum 2 or 3 nights' .. Including camping grounds!!... More

I stayed at Barbara's over the Christmas and New Year period and could not think of a better place to stay. The owners were amazingly friendly and soooo helpful.
